Meet the Panelists
Justin Abrokwah
My name is Justin Abrokwah and I work as a Software Engineer at Okta. I currently do full stack development using technologies including JavaScript, React, Java, and SQL. Before Okta, I fulfilled 4 internships across a variety of companies. In 2021, I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Computer Science. Outside of work, I am an avid sports fan, and coach tennis in the Jane/Finch community.
Nero Yalaju
Nero Yalaju is a Product Designer based in Toronto. She was born and raised in Nigeria. She moved to Canada for her undergrad where she attended McMaster university. She likes to describe herself as a multidisciplinary designer with a business strategy mindset because she specializes in solving user problems and fulfilling business goals and objectives through design. Outside of her 9-5, she explores brand design and art direction with upcoming brands.
Dr.Marty Nyarko
Dr. Marty Nyarko is a Ghanaian-Canadian Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Marty was born in Toronto, raised in Brampton and currently practices in Detroit, MI where he serves as the Co-chair of the National Association of Black Physical Therapists - Michigan chapter (NABPT-MI). His main interests include neurological rehabilitation, advocacy for increased minority representation within the PT field and increasing cultural competency within the PT curriculum.
Feyisayo Enuiyin
Feyisayo Enuiyin is an Engineering graduate from McMaster University and a Digital Product Manager leading the mobile app experience for one of the largest telecommunication providers in Canada. She’s an accomplished Community Developer dedicated to advocating for and empowering black youth. Her work spans across working with various organizations in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. With a strong focus on increasing the enrollment of black youth in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). She consistently strives to create a positive impact in everything she does. When she’s not working you can find her watching films, learning a new skill or sleeping.
