Rise In STEM is proud to offer 1 scholarship award of $500 to a Black student in the Greater Toronto Area pursuing a STEM post-secondary education. Students between the ages of 17 to 25 years old, from all levels of studies from diplomas to advanced degrees are welcome to apply. This scholarship is to recognize your commitment and efforts to making a difference in your community and support your STEM education journey!

The selected candidate will be announced on February 1st, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Self-identify as Black

• Pursuing a post-secondary education (college or university) in the Greater Toronto Area

• Must be between ages 17 - 25 years old

• Demonstrate a passion for community engagement and advocacy

• Demonstrate financial need for education
